India Reiste

My love for books started right around the time my dad would sit me in his lap and help me sound out the words in an American Girl Doll book. Since then, I have always been an avid reader and had stories running through my head, but I never dreamed I’d write a book. So from the moment Trevor surprised me with the start of Mountain Time, I was all in. 

I love being able to take our lifestyle and bring it to life on the page. From rodeo, horses, cattle and small town life, we write what we live. Growing up we always had cattle, horses and goats around the farm. Plus being loved by an amazing cowboy myself, I feel extra qualified to write swoon worthy cowboy MMCs 😉 

When I’m not traveling to rodeos, reading or writing, I work as a freelance marketer in the SEO space.

Trevor Reiste

I’ve honestly never been much of a reader unless it’s an instruction manual for building, assembling or working on a motor. My amazing wife, on the other hand, loves to read, and I enjoyed writing in high school English class. 

One night I told myself I wanted to write a book to surprise her with. I made it three chapters before I got stuck. When I told her about it her face lit up, she read the chapters and the next day started researching writing and publishing a book. And that’s where our writing journey began. One thing India and I both have in common is when we do something, it doesn’t matter if we’ve done it a million times or the first time, we go all in. 

For the past 14 years I’ve been a professional bull rider. India and I travel the US hitting the biggest rodeo’s across the country. She's my biggest supporter and the best traveling partner I’ve ever had. 

When we are home, I enjoy working on our house we are re-modeling together, training young horses, shoeing horses and turning wrenches on vehicles.
